Last night Aaron was in charge of the family night lesson. He gets pretty creative, and we always wonder what he has up his sleeve.
Well he sat the girls down and started talking about consequences that happen when we make good and bad choices and how we can't always do what we want to do. (Something our girls really needed a reminder on).
Then Aaron pulled out Bob the "I Want"
Monster. He said when we have to choose to do something good or bad, Bob sits on your shoulder and tells you to do what you want to do even if it's wrong. Then he had the girls each take a turn with Bob on their shoulder telling them to do something they weren't supposed to do and they had to decide. But they new if they chose something wrong, there would be a bad consequence and if they chose the right thing, there would be a good consequence.
It was pretty entertaining and I couldn't help but take a few pictures.

When we sing songs the girls like to sit on Aaron's lap while he plays. He's such a good sport. We didn't start doing family home evening till Leah was about 2 and I thought it would be hard and it was a little bit at first, but I'm glad we've made a good habit of doing it because now we all look forward to it even though we have to get creative with these crazy little ones.

That made me laugh : ) Very creative! I love the green, ugly monster drawing! You guys are such a cute family!
Awsome!! I wish we were disiplined enough to do Family Night every Monday. I know, that is really bad to say, but things are so crazy. I find myself saying o.k., we are going to do it. And then it never happens. Where do you guys come up with your cute ideas?
Thats fantastic! I always feel guilty when I know we aren't doing family night... And really we don't have any excuse anymore-- the girls are old enough... especially if "BOB" the "I want monster" decided to visit!
