So this last week we took the girls to Disney princesses on ice in Salt Lake. It was so much fun! The girls absolutely loved every minute of it. Unfortunatly I didn't have my camera with me(I'm still kicking myself over that one!) I did take the camera with me and had it on my lap in the car. As we were driving to Salt Lake, Aaron decided that it would be a lot easier to just take tracks(and fun for the girls). So we got off at Sandy. But while driving, I fell asleep. Which if anyone knows me, unless I'm driving it usually takes me about 2 min to fall asleep in the car. So somewhere along the way between Orem and Sandy, the camera fell off my lap in the car while I was sleeping. Well, we get to the train, and it's about ready to leave. So we all jump out of the car and run and barely make it on in time. I did not give my camera a thought until we were almost there. I was soooo mad. Anyway, we still had a lot of fun. We walked in and the place was filled with little girls all dressed up in their princess dressups. It was so funny. They skated to parts of all the Disney princess movies in the first hour and the second hour was the whole show of Cinderella. The costumes were so cute. The girls were so into it. The skaters had fun playing off the audience. They would get everyone clapping to the music. My favorite part was when the wicked queen was trying to get Snow White to eat the apple. Snow White asked the audience, "should I eat this apple?" And Kelsey started shouting, "No, Snow White, No!!!" She was so into it, I just started laughing. And then during the fight with the beast and Gaston, when Gaston pulled out his knife and stabbed the beast, Leah got all scared and covered her face. During intermission, the girls decided they needed to go to the bathroom, so I sent them with Aaron because they were able to walk right into the bathroom. The girls bathroom had a line a mile long. Anyway, Kelsey did not want to go because she was so worried she was going to miss Cinderella. They made it back just in time. At the end, all the princes and princesses came out in the beautiful, sparkling wedding dresses and I asked the girls which was their favorite and they just couldn't decide between all of them. It was a lot of fun and something the girls will talk about for awhile I'm sure. Too bad there will be no pictures to help them remember. I wanted to lean forward and ask the lady in front of me, who was taking pictures of everything, if she would email me some copies. I'm sure if we ever go again, I won't leave my camera behind.
