The Race

Today Aaron and Leah both ran their best in the Idaho Falls annual scenic river race. Aaron ran in a 5K and he did great beating his time last year by 2 minutes. It was fun to watch him come in at the finish line.
Leah ran her first race today in the one mile kids run. She did so good and ran almost the whole way. She ran it in 14 min. which I thought was pretty good for a four year old. She was so excited to get a medal.
When we got home, the kids wanted to go swimming with the neighbors, so we got out our teeny tiny pool. We got them new swim suits this year, and they were so excited to wear them. We had to set it up in our neighbors yard since ours is still just dirt. They had so much fun. They played until they started making mud soup, then we decided it was probably time to call it quits. It was a fun summer day.

Peek-A-Boo

We have a chair in our bedroom that's right across the hallway from the girls bathroom and I was sitting in it putting on my makeup while the girls were playing in the bathtub. After awhile, I realized they were trying to play peek-a-boo with me. It was cute.

We got bunkbeds for the girls a little while ago. They love it. They love to hang their blankets up around it and pretend it's a castle or house. It's fun to peek in on them and see what they're up to. They have such creative imaginations.

I had them peek out and say hi. It always makes their day when they get to have their picture taken.

Friend Get Together

This last weekend we went to Utah for a friends baby blessing. It was so good to get together with our group of friends. Since we moved to Idaho, we haven't been able to keep in touch with everyone as often as we'd like. It's always so fun to get together and catch up. Here's aaron and I with the three new babies we just met for the first time.

Here's some pictures of everyones kids. Leah and Audrey are the oldest, and they love to play together. Then poor Kelsey, she's the only one in her age group. She tries to tag along with the older two. Then there are the three new babies. They are so cute.

I had to have a picture of Leah and Audrey. They had so much fun together. It was such a fun weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves.
